PLACE DU BAIN ROMAIN

In the centre of the square was the old Roman swimming pool, only the Gallo-Roman steps of which have been preserved in the current Bain Romain rest room. The Roman Bath, rebuilt for the fourth time in 1937, occupies the site. Almost completely buried, its cover is hidden by a lawn and glass slabs. Above, a Roman soldier recalls the illustrious past of Plombières. The oldest of the houses that surround the 16th century square.
