Located 10 km from Plombières-les-Bains; the town owes its notoriety thanks to its specialty "Andouille du Val-D'ajol" (registered trademark since 1984), manufactured by the butchers of the locality. It is celebrated every year during the Andouille Fair on the 3rd Monday of February. Largest municipality of Lorraine, it has a preserved architectural and cultural heritage: the church with its classified objects (altarpiece, Piéta, Christ cross, pulpit), the Priory of Hérival (old monastery), the Chalots (annex of typical farm of the Vosges Saônoises), lava roofs and a large number of chapels, crosses (at least 145 cross roads, 3 of which are classified MH), laundries and fountains that are the charm of the 70 hamlets of the town that you can discover through the 150 km of marked hiking.
