Sprochrenner

The Sprochrenner is a cross-border relay race open to all, with the aim of awakening and promoting the sharing of common cross-border cultural and linguistic affiliations among as many people as possible, without any political connotations.

You can run with your family, friends or colleagues, on foot or on rollerblades, scooters or bikes. You can stop wherever you like and take advantage of the local initiatives and festivities organised for the occasion in the municipalities around the race objectives, depending on where and when the race takes place.

You can register for the race free of charge, or by buying a baton. The funds raised from the sale of kilometres will be used to finance projects promoting language immersion in standard German and dialect for primary schools, as well as to support initiatives contributing to the development of the regional language of Alsace.

There will be a section starting from Reichshoffen, so don't forget to come along!
