In La Bresse-Hohneck, you can already wedel down secured slopes in the early morning, from 6 o'clock.
We test this offer, unique in France, during our stay in La Bresse.
A skiing pleasure at dawn
Once you've done the hardest part, getting up early, and had a hearty breakfast, it's off to the slopes of La Bresse-Hohneck!
Already at the first descent everything is like magic - almost alone in the world we leave our first tracks in the snow!
The sun shows its nose on the horizon: this is the moment for us to fully enjoy the Vosges peaks shining red in the first sunlight.
After this moment of pause and contemplation, it's back to the Bourvil, Grandes Gueules (in honor of a film made in the Vosges in the 1960s and its main character Bourvil), Gaby Curien and Blanchemer slopes for more descents. It's 9 a.m. and the ski area is starting to come alive. Off to the ski area's just-opened summit runs to make our first tracks - this time on the Kastelberg run!
And now it's also time for a well-deserved break, at Le Slalom restaurant. We enjoy the warmth of the fireplace with its crackling wood fire and the breakfast offered by the ski resort.
